Resilient Seat Gate Valves
Resilient seated gate valves are suitable for pipelines transporting potable, raw or waste water with a temperature no higher than 60°C. They comply with the standard EN 1074-2. The components that come into contact with drinking water comply with the drinking water regulations of many countries. The resilient seated gate valve operates in two different ways:
- when completely opened: the gate completely frees the corresponding part of the valve’s body, allowing a passage;
- when completely closed: the gate rests on its seat in the body of the gate valve, stopping the flow in the pipeline with complete watertightness (absolutely no leakage).
