Commitments

Professionalism, innovation, quality, local service: these commitments form the basis of SAINT-GOBAIN CANALISATION's policy to remain permanently in tune with the needs expressed by our partners across the water industry.

SAINT-GOBAIN CANALISATION also wants to demonstrate the role it plays in society, within France the creation in 1999 of a Foundation against exclusion in the educational system.

 Professionalism

Our permanent readiness to listen to the needs expressed by our patners and our excellent knowledge of the networks have represented, for more than a century and a half, the foundations for SAINT-GOBAIN CANALISATION's expertise.

Accordingly, our professionalism is illustrated through:

Process control (management of raw materials, continuous processes, metallurgy, spinning and coatings),
a rigorous purchasing policy,
performance in foundry techniques,
creativity in product design,
logistics quality (storage and shipments),
local service.
 Innovation
All SAINT-GOBAIN CANALISATION teams are driven by a spirit of innovation, to adapt our products to customer requirements and market developments.

Research is carried out to find imaginative solutions in numerous fields including the extent of the coating ranges, the ergonomy of parts and the ease of installation and use.
SAINT-GOBAIN CANALISATION therefore offers a complete range of solutions dedicated to the transport of water catering for the diversity of laying conditions (sea, river, high mountain, tunnel, sheath, overhead), as well as the particular land configuration (great depth, steep slope, corrosive soils).

In 2000, product innovations have led to the launch of the ranges:NATURAL, potable water supply pipeline system, and PLUVIAL, runoff water evacuation pipeline system.
Their development demonstrates the efficient synergy of skills between the production, R&D and marketing teams.
 Quality

Improving customer satisfaction is an ongoing concern for SAINT-GOBAIN CANALISATION
For more than a century, we have been committed to constantly improving the quality of our installations, products and services.

The working methods implemented in the design, manufacture and commercialisation of our products are formalised and validated through COFRAC approved certification to ISO 9001:2000 (ISO 9002 in 1989, followed by ISO 9001 in 1993 and ISO 9001: 2000 in 2001).

All our products are designed, manufactured and tested in compliance with current French, European and international standards. Compliance with standards is certified by external organisations.

In addition, many of our products have obtained quality labels (NF, CSTBat, Kite Mark, KIWA, etc.). In particular, products intended for firefighting networks are certified FM (Factory Mutual).
The products or their component parts which are in permanent contact with drinking water comply with current regulations (DGS, KTW, DWI, SVGW, etc.).

 Local service
The extremely high quality of service provided by SAINT-GOBAIN CANALISATION and recognised by all players in the water cycle markets is the result of a true partnership approach.
SAINT-GOBAIN CANALISATION has developed an extensive commercial network that ensures a permanent presence in the markets of more than 100 countries.

In France, SAINT-GOBAIN PAM provides a proximity service through 10 regional management offices. These offices have a team of sales engineers and two business engineers specifically responsible for providing our customers with technical and logistics support.

A group of expert engineers based at the head office is available to solve the most difficult problems.

Our teams offer technical expertise and support to our customers: water analysis, soil surveys, hydraulic and mechanical calculations. They also propose implementation support by helping our customers when starting new work sites by providing special equipment such as chamfer cutting machines and pipe insertion machines, re-rounders, etc.

The After-sales service carries out acceptance and site follow-up (assembly and dismantling of mechanisms, setting of control valves and valves, etc.).

A Customer School accredited over 25 years ago by the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Professional Training provides courses meeting the needs of our partners, companies, network operators and specialised professional organisations.
