The President of Panama inaugurated a Saint-Gobain PAM project

On February 3rd, 2016, the President of Panama, Mr. Juan Carlos Varela, inaugurated the launch of a significant project in Panama city, accompanied by the General Manager of IDAAN (Instituto de Acueductos y Alcantarillados Nacionales), Ms. Julia Guardia.

Saint-Gobain PAM has supplied 8,600 tons of its Hydroclass range of ductile iron pipes for water transmission (DN 100 - 800) with several kinds of supplementary accessories (fittings and valves ranging from DN 100 to 1000) and services to its local partner and awarded contractor MECO. This project is expected to be provided in four main lines for the drinking water systems and will eventually beneficiate to more than 250,000 people in the capital of the country.
