Aggressive or soft waters

Soft or aggressive waters contain few ions and are not saline; they originate from sources such as rivers, lakes, rainwater, and glaciers. Soft waters are often contaminated by human activities such as chemical waste from industry or agricultural by-products. We make sure to provide a safe transport of ductile iron pipes thanks to our specialized PAM internal coating solutions.

Natural Biozinalium pipes and Aquacoat fittings are suitable for most drinking water transport applications, with the exception of soft and aggressive water, for which SG PAM offers appropriate internal coating solutions.

Note: Drinking water standards recommend the distribution of non-corrosive and non-aggressive water, guaranteeing both consistent water quality and the protection of pipes and public and private installations.
