Atlas Plus Range
Available in two versions and with DN80, 100 and 150, the ATLAS PLUS pillar fire hydrant is characterised by maneuverability, mechanical resistance and hydraulic performance. Its sleek lines and new streamlined body design make this fire hydrant blend into the urban scenery. It has been designed for ease of maintenance, resistance to climatic conditions, and the prevention of water retention in its aboveground parts.
A good choice on a long term period
SG PAM Fire Hydrants are designed to last in time without particular intervention; their functionalities are kept even after many years of use.
The product was qualified in our PAM Laboratory accredited COFRAC.
The product offers higher performances compared to the requirements of the standards:
- a number of opening and closing higher than the 1,000 necessary cycles;
- a resistance of the envelope to the pressure higher than 25 bars;
- easily manoeuvrable with operating torques lower than 80 Nm.
,
A pleasant design
SG PAM designed the Fire Hydrant ATLAS + to integrate perfectly the urban landscape and to bring a little modernity and a contemporary design: slim and purified lines, soft and continuous forms, alliance of the red and the metallised grey.

- Functionality indicator: in the collapsible version of the pillar hydrant, a device has been added to prevent it from being put back into use when it is still not completely functional, such as after an impact and breakage of the collapsible system’s wedges by an unauthorised person. A standing hydrant means that it is available, but one lying on the ground is in need of repair.
- Protection: in the non-collapsible version, the connection of the intake body to the fire hydrant’s tube is made well above ground level. The absence of a connection at ground level protects the nuts and bolts from run-off water and slag.
- Security: for both versions, the streamlined body conceals the screwed connection and reduces the risk of vandalism.
