WAFER and LUG Butterfly Valves Range

Short pattern ductile iron butterfly valves

The short pattern ISO 5752 series 20 ductile iron butterfly valves are concentric. The butterfly and the body are both made of strong and durable ductile cast iron with an epoxy powder coating. The joint is mounted in the body and the shaft runs through the disc. The PAM short pattern butterfly valves comply with standard EN 1074¬2.

Ductile iron butterfly valves suitable for low pressure systems and all types of fluids

PAM WAFER range of ductile iron butterfly valves is assembled using rods and nuts. Installed above ground in order to reduce congestion, this valve is suitable for low pressure systems and all types of fluids. Any intervention on this product should be carried out when the network is not under pressure.

Adaptable LUG butterfly valve range for all types of fluids and constraints

Assembled above ground to resolve congestion problems, the LUG range of ductile iron butterfly valves is installed using bilateral screws (and no nuts). It can be adapted for all types of fluid and constraint and, like WAFER, LUG butterfly valves have two friction points. This gate valve is used to dismantle one side of the installation while keeping the other under pressure and in full operating mode.

General information

Non flanged Concentric Butterfly Valves type WAFER have been designed, generally, for industrial applications where dimensional problems are important.

Field of use

Different materials and coatings used for butterfly valves and liners can have a large response to many situations in the industrial area of drinking water and other fluids as the raw water, sea water, etc.

It provides an effective and reliable solution in conditions of work as may be pumping stations, water treatment, desalination, irrigation, etc.

Range

Concentric Butterfly Valves type WAFER are produced from DN25 up to DN1200.

General information

Non flanged Concentric Butterfly Valves type LUG have been designed, generally, for industrial applications where dimensional problems are important.

The LUG butterfly valve is connected to flanged pieces of the network by means of screws located on each side of the valve and which are screwed in the tapped/threaded parts body of the valve. This design allows removal of one side of the installation while the other side is under pressure. It offers easy assembling in facilities where temporary line isolation is necessary: pump outputs, tanks, boat hulls, etc.
