Implementation of a manhole cover on an extension

1.To remove and clean the high part of the extension. To fit the ring on the extension :

• By outside for DN250 and DN400
• By inside for DN300

2. To make sure of the setting out of end stop of the ring.

1. 3. To place the manhole cover centered on the lubricated ring. To engage the manhole cover in the ring lip by a vertical pressure applied to the manhole cover.

4. Adjustment of the frame:

• To place the manhole cover in high position.
• To regulate level by the penetration of the manhole cover.

5. In the event of adjustment by extraction, to maintain the ring on the extension

6. Final adjustment: To compact the wedging material, around the extension and under the frame. To readjust possibly to level the manhole cover. To place the surfacing around the frame and to compact this one to obtain the alignment of surfaces frame and surfacing. To execute several movements of opening / closing of the cover to suppress all risks of blocking of this one.
