Hydraulic manhole covers AKSESS ¼ turn lock
The locked versions keep the same performances and functionalities that the not-locked standards versions.
The frame is identical for the two versions.
Only the handling box of the cover is specific to the locked version.
The locked cover is interchangeable with his standard version.
Technical design
Features
The locking is realized by a ¼ turn system pulled by a pentagonal head screw.
A pictogram moulded on the cover and a reference mark on the pentagonal head enables to know the report of the cover (locked / not-locked).
The pentagonal handling key was adapted to enable the gripping of the cover at the time of its opening.
The key turns only of 90° in the housing thanks to a specific profile of its axis.
This ensures a good maintenance of the key in the print the opening of the cover and avoids that this one does not escape from housing → Safety.
The locked AKSESS manhole covers are delivered with the lock assembled in factory and with a plate of 4 protection caps of the lock fasted under the cover.
These caps enable to identify the network on which are posed the AKSESS manhole covers by symbolizing four fields of application:
- Wastewater
- Storm water
- Water meters
- Lighting / Traffic lights
