The anchored Standard V+i joint is a push-in anchored joint. Leak tightness is provided by a Standard gasket. The axial force is transmitted by a mechanical device that is independent from the actual leak tightness, which includes: an anchoring gasket with inserts embedded in the elastomer, a gland and iron bolts.
