A project funded by the World Bank which aims to provide a sustainable potable water supply to residents of the capital, including villages. This project was under consideration since the 1960s.

Key points of the project

Ductile iron pipes have been selected thanks to their durability and advantages such as quick installation. Indeed most of the project is situated in crowded area, where there are intense activities. It is crossed every day by a significant number of persons. This is a critical issue for the contractor to limit the impact of the site works.
