Pipes for the RAPAZ II micro-electric power plant that will supply green energy (1.25 MW) to a mine and a village in the Andes.

This project involved the construction of a 200 m long wooden staircase to secure the men and a mini railway to winch each pipe: solution implemented by the mining company Los Quenales (Glencore group) to lay the pipeline on a vertiginous escarpment.

The installation rate was 7 pipes/day in the horizontal part and 5 pipes/day in the sloping part.

The maximum operating pressure is 14.1 bar at the bottom of the installation, the pipes will be tested at 19.1 bar.
