Municipal Water Company: Ujësjellës Kanalizime Tiraneë Sh. A. (“UKT” or “Company”) in the City of Tirana

Length: 11 kilometers

Application: improvements in the water supply system, more specifically for construction of a pipeline for transferring water from a water treatment plant to the western part of the City and extension of a water treatment plant.

DN: DN900 and 1200 Standard and Universal Standard Ve Ductile iron pipes (plus 130 tons of fittings and 16 butterfly valves)

The city of Tirana experiences significant water stress with water restrictions in the evening. The water is brought from Lake Bovilla on the heights (see map attachment) to the treatment station located at the entrance of the city: it is an old steel pipe that will be replaced.

This is the main water pipe for the capital Tirana.

All the pipes will be shipped by train and delivered at the train station near Tirana.
