These GEOFLEX have been installed within the framework of the construction of the Pukekohe reservoir in New Zealand, to absorb the movements between the reservoir and the water distribution pipes.

The reservoir is approximately 12 meters high and has a storage capacity equivalent to 20 Olympic-sized swimming pools.

It stores water from the Waikato treatment plant to strengthen Auckland's water supply by providing 25 million liters extra per day. Auckland is indeed facing an unseen period of drought.
