Manhole cover PAMTIGHT - D400 class - Disassembling/Reassembly of the cover

The PAMTIGHT manhole cover is equipped of a polyethylene seating ring and an elastomer sealing ring ensuring the sealing of the manhole cover.

The cover is maintained by 6 clamping claws screwed in the frame.

A note indicating the procedure of disassembling and reassembly of the cover is in a box fasted in the frame of each manhole cover. (To see note below). This box also contains 6 clips anti-rotation.

The orders of clamping claws tightening as well as the recommended tightening torque are also in moulded inscriptions on the cover.

The different elements (clamps, discs, bolts and clips) are available in the form of a kit including the number of parts necessary to equip a manhole cover.
