Documents
The STANDARD gasket is a push-on joint. The water tightness is made by the compression of the elastomer gasket which operates during the assembling by the introduction of the spigot end inside the socket.
The anchored gasket ViLoK (with inserts) has the same shape than the STANDARD gasket, and fits the same socket. The gasket ViLoK has inserts which anchor the socket joint by hooking into the pipe spigot (or the fitting) after the assembling.
The STANDARD Ve joint is a push-on joint with a weld bead; the watertightness is made by the compression of the elastomer gasket which operates during the assembling by the introduction of the spigot end inside the socket. The anchoring is reinforced by the addition of a gland and of bolts.
