Origine France Garantie

  • This product is made in France in our foundry in Blénod-les-Pont-A-Mousson (54), and is certified Origine France Garantie. This guarantees consumers that the product is made in France in accordance with specifications available on originefrancegarantie.fr. The certification number is: BVCert 6026906.
  • “Origine France Garantie certification is awarded by an independent certification body. Checks are then carried out every year to ensure that the product is indeed 100% made in France and that at least 50% of the product's manufacturing costs (including raw materials) are of French origin".»

Material and coating:

  • Frame and cover in ductile iron EN-GJS-400-15.
  • DUCTAN® coating applied on external and internal surfaces of frame and cover :
    • DUCTAN® characteristics:
      • Corrosion performances :
        • Resistant to the most severe acidic corrosive environments (pH1 to pH10), and to marine environments (sea, salt, sand, etc.).
        • Coating protects the entire product. Totally smooth, it prevents the build-up of condensation areas.
      • Mechanical resistance :
        • Perfect adhesion with an average value of up to 15 MPa (150 kg/cm²). Excellent resistance to abrasion. Very flexible, it is highly resistant to impact.
      • Environmental aspects :
        • Excellent environmental characteristics:
          • no bisphenol (BPA free), including bisphenol A,
          • no VOCs,
          • no TGIC (triglycidyl isocyanurate),
          • no phthalates,
          • no isocyanates,
          • no halogens,
          • no heavy metals.
    • Long-lasting exposed manholes.
    • Thanks to its very high performance against chemical attack, the DUCTAN® coating provides exceptional durability for cast iron manholes, avoiding the need to seal a new manhole to replace a corroded one. Thanks to its flexibility and adhesion, the lining will resist mechanical attack during installation and inspection.

Field of application:

  • D400 class (Group 4) according to standard EN124-2, carriageways of roads, hard shoulders and parking areas for all types of road vehicles.

  • Normal traffic areas and infrequent inspections.

  • Sewage system components highly exposed to H2S gas.

Main PAMTIGHT DUCTAN Characteristics

  • The tapped holes in the frame where the screws are used to secure the clamps, and the clamps themselves, are not coated with DUCTAN® in order to preserve the operation of the system. The clamps and screws are outside the area affected by H2S emanations.
